These self learning modules provide the basics of
lactation management for those with little previous experience
or training as a breastfeeding counselor and meet the requirements for
breastfeeding support training required for DONA doula training.

The Basics of Lactation Management Self Learning Program consists of 3 chapters:
    Starting Out Successfully
    Difficulties Breastfeeding Mothers May Encounter
    Breast Pumps and Breastmilk Storage

The Complete Self Learning Program consists of the above chapters, plus:
     Breastfeeding the Premature Infant
    Alternative Feeding Methods for Breastfeeding Babies

DONA students are required to take the basic set, Chapters 1, 2 and 3. Chapters 4 & 5 are optional.

- Print and complete the post-test and evaluation for each chapter
