Lactation Education Resources Interviews with Lactation Consultants

This course consists of 21 one-on-one interviews with carefully selected lactation consultants currently working in various workplace settings. It is of value to currently certified lactation consultants to learn what is going on at various settings and of value to those considering a career as a lactation consultant or students currently preparing for IBLCE certification.

Settings represented include:

Hospitals
NICU's
Worksite
Pediatric practices
Private lactation practices
Outreach centers including WIC Centers

Each section concludes with a panel discussion of all of the participants in that particular workplace setting. Interviews are conducted by Vergie Hughes RN, MS, IBCLC, FILCA. Upon completion the enrollee will be awarded 7.5 L-CERPs and 7.5 Nursing Contact Hours, $39.00.
