The Lactation Consultant Training Program

The Inova Learning Network if offering a one week lactation consultant training program to prepare for lactation consultant practice and for the IBLCE certification exam. This is the course that was formerly offered by Lactation Education Resources with the same speakers and same format.

Lactation Management for Doulas

Self Learning Modules to prepare doulas to provide breastfeeding support for their clients. Meets the breastfeeding training requirements prior to the DONA doula training course.

Basic Lactation Management Training

Self Learning Modules designed for those who have had little training or experience with breastfeeding mother and babies. Ideal to take prior to the Lactation Consultant Training Program.

Providing the Keys to Breastfeeding Success

This program travels to you! We will work with you to custom tailor the program to your needs. It can be an overview breastfeeding and lactation management or provide a comprehensive look at a few subjects and can be as long as a week or as short as a day. This program is appropriate for nurses, residents, clinical assistants, clinic workers and others wishing to learn or to update their breastfeeding support skills. Clinical Internship Program

Our internship program provides educational and practice opportunities in a variety of settings. For those interested in obtaining clinical experience in preparation for beginning practice as a lactation consultant. Begin at any time.
